Welcome to your Body Balance journey
Anatomical training
Anatomical training is Dance-Pilates based training with a biomechanical approach. The main objective is to bring back balance to our body (sometimes we lack strength, sometimes mobility, sometimes both). While focussing on different chains of muscles and analysing how the forces work in our body, we prevent any injuries and learn how to train efficiently.
Anatomical training is for every level and every type of body. We work tense bodies as well as the ones who struggle to gain muscle tone. Older people to young ones, people with mobility restrictions, pre and post pregnancy. Also we work with people who has no experience, to dancers, acrobats and athletes.
You can choose in between strengthening classes, mobility-training classes, or a mix of both.

Why is flexibility crucial to achieve body balance?Working the flexibility in your body it's a mental and physical path to balance. We develop neuromuscular connections through proprioception, in order to create a organic and efficient path. As we age, our tissues get dry, and their fibers lose their parallel cellular structure. Believe it or not, as years go by we dry and tan as leather. Developing our flexibility helps us to stimulate the production of tissue lubricant and to rebuild a parallel celular structure. In fact, flexibility give us the tools to reset our body and prevent its aging. |
But... I also need strenght to be in balance!
Yes, finding balance requires MOBILITY in our joints, FLEXIBILITY and STRENGTH on our muscles. Because of that, we develop a serie of classes in order to help you.
MOBILITY TRAINING: a training to develop mobility in our joints. We use the biomechanical principles, but we focus on specific places. Our main goal is to release tension and to bring a wider range of mobility to our joints. ACTIVE STRETCHING: we work our whole body at the same time. Believe or not, you are going to sweat on this class. While our muscles chains project in different directions, our joints get released and our muscles get stronger. BARRE/PILATES TRAINING: Using biomechanical principles and proprioception exercises we develop strength activating neuromuscular connections. It means, we train the connections in between your body and your brain, for you to get stronger in a more efficient way, preventing any injuries. |
